Cabernet Franc 2018
One of the family’s key wines.
It is harvested in early October from a single position in western Istria, where a stable climate with long days, low humidity and soils that retain moisture allows the grapes to develop evenly.

Profile
For Giulio, Cabernet Franc holds a special place within the estate, built through years of vineyard work and cellar discipline. Over time, it has become one of the wines that defines the direction of the house.
The wine ages for three years in wood, followed by an additional year in bottle, where it settles and rounds out. The color is deep and concentrated.
On the nose, dark berries and cherry dominate, with notes of cocoa and dried herbs. On the palate, it is precise, led by ripe cherry and fine tannins that provide length and structure. Wood is present, but balanced.
In recent years, the wine has been recognized through awards at Vinistra and Decanter, confirming its position beyond the estate itself. It remains one of the family’s key wines, shaped through repetition, patience and control.
